腋下淋巴炎的症状和表现主要为淋巴结肿大、发热、血细胞含量升高。腋下淋巴炎需根据病因进行治疗。一般情况下，结核杆菌引起的腋下淋巴炎可通过在医生指导下服用异烟肼片等药物治疗；其他细菌引起的腋下淋巴炎可通过在医生指导下服用相应抗生素治疗，如硫酸链霉素片、青霉素v钾片等。
1、淋巴结肿大：无论患者所患的腋下淋巴炎是急性还是慢性，经b超检查后，一般均可发现腋下淋巴结增生的现象。急性患者还会出现淋巴结红肿、疼痛的症状。一般情况下，急性患者在治愈后肿大现象可消失，但慢性患者即使治好淋巴炎，淋巴结肿大的现象也会持续存在。
2、发热：有些患者可能会出现发热，同时伴有身体乏力的症状。患者可采用物理降温的方式降低体温，如用湿毛巾冷敷额头等。若体温超过了38.5℃，可在医生指导下服用布洛芬缓释胶囊等药物降低体温。
3、血细胞含量升高：腋下淋巴炎肿大患者在进行血常规检查后，会发现血液中白细胞、中性粒细胞水平会升高。白细胞、中性粒细胞有免疫、吞噬病原体的功能，在身体出现炎症时，这类血细胞的分化会增加，待炎症治愈后会恢复到正常水平。
